Finding Textures a problem?!?!

Somehow, I do not think this version is equipt with the actions. I have looked all over and even was going to reinstall the thing. It looks like I will have to find me another version. Thanks for the help and I will keep refering back to this when I get a newer version. Frank

PS Confusing though. File...Automate...Batch is there. I can not use it because they say I need an action. Maybe I will go ahead and reinstall this and try my luck. TY DAF

If i am correct any Photoshop from version 4 up till the latest CS2 does have actions.

On that i am 100% sure version 6 and above does have actions. I myself use version 6 and 7 and both have actions alright. As far as the newer CS versions, they MUST have it too. But it could be its locaded different from the non CS versions.

But yeah, if you have automated than actions should be there too. I would asume that your version is missing stuff or is corrupt. What version do you have ?

On a sidenote, i do not know if any SE version will have all the stuff mentioned, since those are complete stripped down versions. In general those are free versions given away with equipment like scanners and printer.

But all full versions Photoshop 6, 7, CS, CS1, CS2 (Platinum or not) should have them. Actually theres little difference between any version to begin with. That includes bugs from version 4 are still very much present even in the latest CS2

I split the bigger files into 1 mb files frank

This way u can go on with ure tinkering without any probs

Thanks. Is it better to have smaller files? I know some of them were large and it would take awile to download, but it stays the same for the server, right? I have about 4 - 6 new packages, but it seems that noone is using it. I will post them if you think it is worth it.

Well the posting rules have changed a little bit
u can now only post files of 1 mb each so u will have to split them up
u can post 15 attatchements in one post so that should be enough .. if not lemme know .. the current host for the files and pics has no space limit just a 1 mb filesize limit

For the realy bigger files (20 mb +) i can of course still use the host for the forum and website .. but all tha small stuff on there was also 150 Mb'ish so we now have plenty of space there again

The other one is a bit slower then the webhost but for the smaller files this should be no prob

OK, so this weekend, I will try and get all the files that I have split into 1 MB and post them here. I just wish I knew if PLP would want them. It really is a nice program and I look through it all the time. I think that if I started in the back, not A-Z, but from Z-A, it might be more interesting, because when a designer looks through the UnEd browser, he/she always looks from the front and get fed up with looking more.

Splitting the filesize is quite easy with winrar i've set mine to make it files of 979.872 bytes and that size work fine for the upload max

Ok, I finally found most of the files for the ed browser. I will try to post them here but just the A-F files are 40 mb and so splitt there will be...you guessed it, 40 files. Hmmmm....

Lets see if this works.

Why don't you upload it in one part? (You may webspace, but it's not difficult to find some...googlepages for example...)

Yeah, I am not going to do it this way. It was a flop. Either I send the whole thing to Carnage, and he can put it on the homepage, or I will find space of my own.

Carnage, what do you think? If I send you the 5 packages as a whole, it may take a little bit to upload/download, but it would make more sence than this.

The tool I use for extracting UT2004 textures is WOTGreal Exporter, it does it nice and easly.
