Ladder
We now have six registered members on the clanbase. We need four to play a match. Should we enter the TDM ladder yet or practise some more???

Did you sort out this server-testing and IRC stuff and all...? Or does clanbase now have its own servers where the matches are held?

Yes, because clans find it to be a very harsh punishment when they wipe the floor with another clan...
That was sarcasm, by the way.
But i would agree, although i have not voted, that it is the taking part that counts, and in that respect you should join a ladder.
And anyway, if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Or redefine success. Either way, your good.

I think there are certain maps to cycle and rules to uphold on a clanbase match server. Ther servers are 4 vs 4 max so there should be no problem for either carnage or myself to host such a server.}TCP{Wolf wrote:Did you sort out this server-testing and IRC stuff and all...? Haven't seen Cee on the forum in a while actually.
And i no longer really play Unreal online, i would rather play a game in which i am likely to actually find someone to play it with; I sat in the RCTF server for over an hour last night killing bots, nobody bothered their arses to join for a little flag'n'frag.

It's much more than that. We also need to be prepared to be challenged and be disqualified if not enough members show up. From then ethousiasm so far I'd say we're not quite ready for it.}TCP{Furious wrote:i think we should give it a try, but we also need more practise if we want to mess with the big ones

Missing me already, eh ?
Ut2k4 will have to work without me. After careful consideration I decided to not start getting into that game, since its no game which would usually catch my interest. Been having it on the hdd for at least 1/2 yr now and only played it 3 or 4 times. So there will be no Cee amazeness :l
