I'll prolly need a GFX card to start with, I'm using on-board graphix at the moment.

Still, it's better than my GFX card in my old PC, an NVidia TNT model 64/64Pro.

Hmmz i personaly don't like the onboard stuff all that much .. usualy it's just crap..

Also have one of those 64 mb shared thingy in my server ..when i just got it i wanted to decide to use that as my gaming machine or not .. well the vid sucked big time .. but as server it will do just fine

Ow btw i was able to play the 2004 even with a gforce2 32 mb

Epic is definitely running out of ideas

They don't even make the easiest improvements on ut2k4 - like bodies that stay forever, I just love a good pile of dead meat

You guys played FEAR yet? Excellent game, by far the best FPS game out at the moment. I played a demo on my brother's computer, the AI is the best i have ever seen, and the effects are like Doom to the power of 10.

Its like, where Doom needed to use dark rooms and big things jumping out at you and stupid jumpy stuff like that, FEAR uses simple thriller things to really freak you out, but it seems to work far better than Doom.

It's well worth a look anyway, and the SP demo is easily downloadable.

Probably running in 640x480 with all details low or off will make it an everlasting experience :O

Well did a little snooping and found this thing around

Tried to tinker around with it a bit but can't seem to get it to work

Also tried adding some serveractor stuff and the .u file as a package but didn't work :/ .. although it did show up in the web admin page as a mutator
