It hardly gives any extra performance. But every bit is welcome. The good thing is that running FarCry32 at Win64 is not slowe than FarCry32 at Win32.

Far Cry is slow as it is already. It needs a phat graphics card to run smoothly. At least one that can run the latest directx crap.
Nevertheless it's a really nice game to play with cool tropical island scenery, it always makes me feel like I'm on on a holiday.

Because you run 32-bit software on a 64-bit OS. The AMD Athlon 64 is faster in processing 32-bit code in 32-bit mode than in 64-bit mode.
64-bit only pays off whn you have:
A 64-bit CPU
A 64-bit OS
A 64-bit driver set
And a 64-bit application

lets see 64bit cpu-check
64bit 0S check
64bit drivers check
64 bit farcry check
made a huge diff for me doubled my FPS from 60-80 to 120-160
