Yes, ladies and gentlemen..Once again a fine display of sportsmanship here for the second time already and this time certainly to be nominated.
For some its fun, others dont see it that way.. Especially after it happened before and its totally uncalled for. Is it just me being too picky about it ?
Or is it maybe really a behaviour that shouldnt be in tcp ?
I'll happily let the public decide :O
im not so sure. i think that, if no1 was actually playing, or if the m,ap was being tested, or some mod or something under testing, then that kind of behavior is ok, since no1 is really worried about the scores. But if people are actually trying to play, then suiciding is not ok at all.
Really, the best way is to never do anything like suicide all day unless someone else is doing it. I wouldnt really do it either way ( suiciding isnt all that funny), but in the case of someone hitting keybinds over and over again, i'd usualy come back with
As i think i said once before, the serious playing should be reserved for clan matches and practice...of course, how does one define 'practice'? it could just be two random folk in a server, or it could be an organized practice like you guys sunday one...
but my overall opinion would be that he did nowt seriously wrong, just tell him off and be done with it.
edit:
i seem to remember someone killing me alot in monster mash servers. You cant say furi is doing anything wrong when you look at the type of thing the rest of you do.
Its not about it being dead serious or not.. its the second time its happened, its the second time he did it, its the second time he did it on taz's and my team and yes, we actually played (the other time he did it was actually during training, so..)
I wonder what other ppl do when I join the German server and start suiciding on the winning team "for fun". Will they laugh and say "oh my, you're funny" ? :l
Its probably "alright" doing it somewhere, where everybody thinks its funny at that given time, but that wasnt the case there and pretty much tipped off the scale for further happenings :/
oh boy... we was loosing like 30-2 and you already won the match so i suicided to make the score even..
maybe the lamo 2005 should go to you monkey climbing all the time on roofs and fuckin up with that shit!
or you all played VS me alone i had no chance but i dont see it seriously couse its just for fun and not clan match or practise!
Cee : fur needs help :O
he changed team to red and i followed him and u went blue
and the roofs we always got back on the stage after a min or something :\
and there were 5 of us so u can count that as a practice :l
It certainly was no match anymore afterwards
And I did change teams to help you when you were alone, but u went blue then and I was alone on red..logical..maybe..
Also Taz was mostly playing you 2 or 3 alone and the sore loser has to suicide to drag the match on, the only purpose being that your team wins in the end.. Even in a "fun match" I wouldnt like that happening and didnt :l
I don't think mass-suiciding is funny in any circumstances, why do you think does UTF auto-ban people doing it? You were just lucky the GERMAN FUN admins are so lazy to install any mods.

Agreed Wolf, I dont think its funny either, and neither did Cee or Taz judging from their posts.
However, in mitigation I would point out that there were only TCP peeps playing so its more understandable that Fury might feel that lame play would be seen as a joke. Also, as Xav said, there are times when peeps stop playing in earnest and start mucking about (like jumping the book in Obs, or shooting at teammates etc). So while I understand Cee's and Taz's frustration, I think that Fury misread the spirit of that particular match rather than purposefully doing anything seriously wrong. Still, I wasnt there
I was a bit surprised that this was posted in public rather than members section.
