Well you could always move in the air like 5% or something. This is just enough for landing on things below you, making sure you dont overjump. once you get used to this percentage, its hard to change to any others.
the amount of times ive missed landing on the stupid shieldbelt bit in deck on a high-ac server...

If it were realistic... for me it would be.... shuffle forward, stop, orient, shuffle. That's realistic.
Then you should try Caverns of Hell by Orion (Co30). There is a 'bottomless' pit in one section that goes on and on and on... if you 'hug' the walls you can hang there forever. LOL
