any screenshots?

BTW:
Poor BUT replacement for Linux users.
Download gslist and gsinfo; below.
Compile and place in the same directory.
Use something like:

Code: Select all

./gslist -n 612 -r "./gsinfo #IP #PORT" | grep 'player_.*}TCP\|player_.*RzR'
...to know if any TCP or RzR is playing at the moment.

If you don't know Java you can't make such a comment:!: And you don't have to agree, just prove me I'm wrong - which you prolly can't. However, you can write an AWT button and see if it displays on a win machine and on a Linux... :P

}TCP{aLICe wrote: Java is thought to be machine and system independed, so if you write anything in Java it has to run everywhere!

ROFL LMAO MAWUHAHAHAHAHAHA good joke :D You're forgetting the number one rule of programming: THEORY AND REAL LIFE NEVER CONCUR!

}TCP{aLICe wrote: blah blah

Ad.1) probably path used to read file is composed of '\' instead of '/' - typical Windows programmers bug (in HTML and Java - under Win works, under others does not) :-)

No. Java uses Linux style paths, most applications REFUSE TO WORK WITH WIN PATHS. But since you don't know Java you couldn't know that either. Please stop making assumptions out of your hat.

There IS a BUG :!:

And proof:
First screenshot (red) shows running program after download, other (green) after my fix :P

ADDED: grrrrr, sorry images are in reverse order due to unknown forum behaviour :?

Interesting... even more interesting that it displays the AWT parts of the GUI. The whole time I was thinking AWT created the problems... Linux... must be... odd system :O

Ah whatever :P btw you could just have copy-pasted the entire text log there :D

If the servers appear double in the list after start and stop it would suggest the hosts was read and merged once (read twice). I really don't get it what you're doing... and maybe I don't wanna know anymore. I will ask Smirftsch though to run it now some time from now :P

It started off as spam though :)

Well thanks Alice for trying it out under Linux. That last screenshot looks like it can work just as it should :) You did enable debug mode though did you lol
