head to the Bone Village. Search for
'normal' treasure. Dig up near the smoke just like before, except this time,
dig as close to the ledge as you possibly can. Eventually you will get the Key
to Sector 5.

yup. because, of course, the old lady standing outside midgar sais shes lost her key, and she must have left it in bone village...

its the long bit of bone just to the right of the entrence...do a search all the way across that.
