Bah... no clue on this... UTeamFix does not touch texture settings. I do know some maps look NOTABLY different with different renderers...

Lol, all together its a trivial thing to begin with 
But yeah, i know that maps can look completely different in the various driver settings, as a matter a fact that was my fist thought. But at the end, all the people that tried (including me) got those results while not toughing the drivers. So i could safely rule that out.....
So for the moment i stick to it, that it has something to do with teamfix, somehow.
As said its totally trivial stuff, but i sure wondered if someone had an idea what it could be or how, especcially since we all agree it can't be teamfix.
The solution may simply ly in the fact that this game is called Unreal

this really is one for the books...you say "cieling"...is it a whole flat surface, or just part of a flat surface?
and is it only 1 flat surface, not two or three?
if it is only part of a flat surface, its probably a rendering glitch...
if theres more than one flat surface showing the skybox, and none of these surfaces are broken up (i.e. thier all sky for the full surface) then it has to be something to do with the texture properties...

My videocard got fried a week ago so i can't make a screenshot 
Celtic Dakar
There is the map, take a look at it.
It has a sky with 2 different running clouds, looks pretty cool though colors are maybe a bit to purple if i recall, beside that its actually a very good done sky. So no its not some kinda glitch, sky looks great.
Though Teamfix is not the problem, you can only see the sky with an unreal that does not have a Teamfix installed
I did not test it in different videosettings, i used OpenGl before my card got fried.

When i look in the editor it looks like its SkytstAX, but nothing in the texture has been altered, wasn't sure which Dakar was the origional, cause the author made some variations (all with the same skybox btw)
I installed them all to find out, and this is the link to the origional version Dakar
And yes i asume the sky should be visible, not the ceiling, i can only run it in software mode now, and when that map was made, most people were running softwaremode. And without teamfix it shows a great sky.

Never had time to give a reply again, but what now do you think is the reason, cause at the end, all servers i have played that map on, do have a that ceiling.
And as said whatever i do, at the moment i add teamfix (no fancy stuff, no tweaking, just ading it) the ceiling is there ???
So what now is different in what you did there Wolf ???
