It's quite a line, indeed. It's actually leeched from a school thru a wireless connection. The max bandwidth is somewhere around 230 Mb/sec.

Only problem is that the server is too slow and channeling 16 players thru a wireless device is a bit too much. Most wireless routers aren't built for that.

It does make a nice FTP server tho, the DivX movies are coming to me at a speed of 450 Kb/Sec, which is MY maximum :/

And yes, a school. They have a very large internet connection. My colleage has a friend who is the main system manager at that school, and he's living opposite of it. The school has 6000 users so the connection must be quite large.

If Xvid is DivX, then try playing an Xvid movie with only having a DivX codec installed :/

Basicly the only difference between Divx and Xvid is that the comman framerate of Divx = 26 and Xvid is usualy 29 fps ..

But quality wise there is virtualy no difference

but consider that your child might be going there soon? what if he is doing his project on 'frog's behavier in rainy weather' and suddenly his internet connection is cut by some fool who's unreal server just changed maps/
