Experimental Onslaught Server online

Yesterday, myself and a colleague installed an experimental UT2004 onslaught server. Experimental because we have no idea yet how it's going to behave when the heat is on. The specs are quite encouraging:

It's a dedicated Linux server (1 Ghz+) on a 2 Gb network connection. That's right

2Gb!!!

There should be LAN-like bandwidth for at least 16 players. The server is called }TCP{ The Clan Punisher. I know that we're not a UT2004 clan, nevertheless I encourage you all to give it a try!

Well, we tested the server. It crumbled under the stress of four players.
Guess that didn't work.

Back to the ole drawing board.
