Server changes

I have taken the clan portal DOWN permanently and removed the "ptmc-v" DNS entry. It won't come back.
Now some good news, one machine is in the process of being replaced, the MONSTERMASH / multipurpose Unreal One server is being redone by Carnage, he promised me to update it to the latest 227 as well.
The new server already runs and I have test-played on it yesterday, aside from some missing client sounds that are likely some network hiccups (potentially on my end even) it seemed to run just perfect even WITH a notable amount of concurrent upload taking up bandwidth on it, so there is little reason to believe network or cpu will be a problem.

Oh...but yes there is!!!! But I am not a happy camper right now....I can not load 227i. It is too late to try and figure it out tonight. But yes monster mash has the mojo map!

I can revert it back to the other version untill u get it sorted ? i made a backup so can be done in a jiffy

Probably the anti cheat having a problem with the different server / client sub-versions here... try without the anti cheat on, whoever cheats in MM is a complete retard anyway lol

I was looking for a second UT2K4 FFM server earlier and failed (don't bother, it's private and not listed) but I did find ....

I've no idea how long it's been back, but it looks like Carnage has resurrected it (Cheers Carnage
), probably hosted on his home machine as I pinged 36 there ? I guess there was a notice that I missed when it opened, so I thought I'd post this in case others missed it too.
Anyway, it was nice to see some of my old fav maps (Disney Castles ftw)

Thanks for all the years of Monster Mash. I really enjoyed playing. If I had a brain....I would run my own server with it on it. But for real, thanks again for all the years you ran it for me.
