Hi guys,

I finished my trials map with shock rifle just few weeks ago. Please download and try it out! Just put it in your UT2004/Maps folder and have fun! :D

TIPS:

The map might be hard for You to complete because it's originally made for ppl playing trials.

You're supposed to do a combo at the end, in to the hole.

There is a disco room if you complete the map without falling in to the teleport volumes. You can open it by shooting the "reward room" text (near the use button) with your shock rifle. You can also cheat (type ghost in console) to get in there... The room contains some secrets (music and girls) :D

Seems like you have used a volume that is not bundled with UT2004 or the ECE:
TPMultiDodgeVolume0

Code: Select all

Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2402 MHz with 1023MB RAM
Video: RADEON 9600 SERIES  (6925)

Ran out of virtual memory. To prevent this condition, you must free up more space on your primary hard disk.

History: FMallocWindows::Malloc <- FMallocWindows::Realloc <- 00000000 831756144 FArray <- FArray::Realloc <- 831756144*1
<- UStruct::Serialize <- (Class myLevel.TPMultiDodgeVolume0) <- UState::Serialize <- UClass::Serialize
<- (Class myLevel.TPMultiDodgeVolume0) <- LoadObject <- (Class myLevel.TPMultiDodgeVolume0 24538==24538/20910437 24500 172)
<- ULinkerLoad::Preload <- PreLoadObjects <- UObject::EndLoad <- UObject::LoadPackage <- UEditorEngine::Exec_Map
<- UEditorEngine::Exec <- (MAP LOAD FILE="C:\UT2004\Maps\AS-Solo-SpeedShock-v1.ut2") <- UUnrealEdEngine::Exec
<- FileOpen <- WEditorFrame::OnCommand <- WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- MessagePump <- MainLoop

A bit later it gives:

Code: Select all

Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2402 MHz with 1023MB RAM
Video: RADEON 9600 SERIES  (6925)

Assertion failed: Actors(1)->Brush!=NULL [File:e:\ut2004work\engine\inc\UnLevel.h] [Line: 430]

If it looks for a file on a drive that does not exist (at least in my setup) no chance it could work.

Sorry, I had to make two posts, since apparently the forum interprets part of the message errors as forum code (even when using code tags or disabling HTML and BBcode for the post).

You might need to put these files in the zip in to your UT2004/System folder to solve the problem :O

The mutator containing LevelConfigActor is also needed (error on myLevel.LevelConfigActor0).

Had to go to a server that uses it and extract it from cache.
Put it in the system folder too.

People may want to either specify 0 bot(s) or use the killbots command to avoid the small delay they generate when respawning.

very nice trail zion
not often that a shock gets used in a trail
very inventif especialy how youve done those lazers ^^
(1st tryed to jump up them xD i went like WTF! they are to small :P)

the last lift-jump is rly hard, i did like 15 mins only to compleet that jump =P
but ive made it to the end ^^

but bots rly are annoying yes
maybe make a 2nd room and put the defending team in there
so they don't shoot eatchother @ start

all whit all great solo trail map ^^

This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.

This limit is reached.

To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.
z1on, your account on my mass storage server has been given upload permissions. If you could assemble a zip with all the required files needed to run the map feel free to use site.

Hi!

Well, I saved Z1on the work and did it for him now. ;-) His annotations from this thread are included as a help file.

TCP members will find it in the The Clan Punisher Archive:
Unreal Tournament 2004 -> Maps -> Offline Play -> AS-Solo-SpeedShock-v1.7z

For all others who might be interested, I uploaded it to the load.to download site. However, load.to automatically deletes files if they aren't downloaded for 30 days. So if the link doesn't work anymore, you know what happened. ;-) Best to do is to turn off Javascript prior to opening the link - will save you from ads and popup windows!

So... if you're ready, you can download it here: AS-Solo-SpeedShock-v1
