I see this was posted a year ago on youtube, so it might have been covered already..

Interesting use of the engine.

awww I got your hopes up? :D

My point, should you choose to accept it, is that the result was interesting (weird atmosphere and ideas). That's a subjective thing, of course, like when people declare something genius, etc. ;)

(You mean there are more comments besides the staggering amount of four that I already read? ;))

Good find, reject. Yes, there are many good ideas like this out there. Look at the toon worlds that came up awhile ago. And now the mushroom level that coco has on his server. The Unreal engine is a very powerful engine. But if you have seen the UT 3 engine, you would never be satisfied with this one anymore.

Well, yes, it is new textures, but it also looks like they did something to the figures also. And I believe, the black/white is a greater draw on the engine than color. Do not really know. But it look cool anyways. :)

I saw there was a Toon Country map for ONS, but never got around to try it.

Looks very nice.

(The levels in UT3 use static meshes almost exclusively it seems.)

Footnote: It's only original material (animations, sounds, textures), and isn't that a use of an engine, generally speaking?--But I'll meet you halfway, because the engine term has more of a mod feel to it than being used as a simple level design term.. :) lol Now stop arguing semantics and get back to killing people.

Hi!

Hehe, rejecht, the Toon Country final map for ONS is on FunHouse #4 since we have that server. ;-)

ah I haven't played ONS much since I started playing TAM and FREON, though, but I'll vote it the next time I see it/play it! :)

Looks nice. I do not know why, but I like playing these toon maps. Not all the time, but every now and then, it takes the stress out of the game.

Creepy map
I love those things where nothing seems to make sense or fit into place
kinda reminds me of nowhere in silent hill with the floating ground and random stuff floating about :D
