So, I have a new mouse - this one:link
I had bad feelinghs about the mouse with USB port, but hey, i've got a PS2/USB konettur, so it's gonna be ok. And it wasn't... I tried connecting it to USB, PS2 - shit happens. I checked usb mouse support in BIOS... disabled. A-ha! Gotcha! But not. Mouse still isn't working - it glows red, but cursor isn't moving...

Hi!

Hmm, I don't understand Polish. :-(

Do you mean that you're connecting a USB mouse to your PS/2 port, using a USB to PS/2 adapter? If so, I'm pretty sure this is causing the problem. Despite the fact that you can't make much use of the higher resolution because of the lower data rate of PS/2, I doubt that you'll be able to use the additional mouse buttons (in case there are any).

Anyway, basically it should work in the way that you're able to move the mouse cursor. Maybe using the lowest resolution of your mouse could help for a start.

But: Don't you have a USB port? If possible, I would strongly recommend to connect it via USB - even if it's just USB 1.1.

Coco.

P.S.: I just noticed... Happy Birthday to you, Forever! :-D

Thanks, but the problem just solved itself. Mouse just started working, dunno how, dunno why, but I don't care :D
BTW - I didn't even think that mouse could be too sensitive...
