Well, I seriously thought this would be the last game for Germany in the Euro 2008. But, like many others I guess, I was completely surprised about how well they played in the beginning.

I'm really sorry for you, killer. I guess the Portuguese would have shot another goal if just the game would have last a few minutes longer. Anyway, your team did very well and can return home with pride. In the end, the game was just decided by luck.

For the coming games, I'd say everything is possible, simply depending from the condition of the day for this team. Wouldn't it be a classic if Germany played the Netherlands in the final? I guess we have a good chance to win the semi-final, be it against Turkey or Croatia. Especially in the latter case, we have to make up for the bad match in the preliminary round!

now you have seen how much dmg germany can do, unfortunatly the coach changed the tactics in my opinion they should have keept it up that way :p

Germany played differently this time. It could be because the trainer was locked up, and the co-trainer played it differently. We were more agresive, and it worked. The other team played extremely well, but it was just not in the cards for them.

Oh well, just watched the match Croatia against Turkey. I rarely saw a team having that much luck as the Turkish one. 0:0 after 90 minutes. Still 0:0 after 119 minutes. Then Croatia scored just 1 minute before regular extended time ended. And what happened? Turkey evened out in the very last moment of the match! What followed was a decision by penalty kicks which was won by Turkey because two Croatians failed.

I feel sorry for Croatia, really. They should have made it in the first 90 minutes.

Now Germany will play against Turkey in the semi-finals...
