Materazzi deserved it..
What would you want zidane to do then.. smack him right in the face?
Be glad he did what he did, he cud have injured materazzi but he didn't..
Zidane is one of the greatest players to ever walk the grass..that headbutt doesn't change it..to me it is a good thing..

the headbut thingy is just made to big by the media.
and by that italian guy to fall to the ground whits was just looking lame
that people now mainly only remember that
was better for him if he did something after the match then right on the field

It was simply unsportive. He might be a good player, but definitely not one of the wisest. After all his years of experience, he should have known better than ruining his reputation in his last match.
