The link doesnt load here...is that it ? Oh now it did :P
Thats the future of gaming (and probably everything else as well one day..like music and movies..). I'm quite sure that companies would really love it, if nobody could ever OWN their stuff again. Instead they only want to provide more of a temporary monthly fee based renting service in which they keep everything and also get your money, while you get...nothing actually :p

I never did buy Half Life 2 precisely because I did not like the Big Brother attitude of the Steam concept. I would have definitely bought it otherwise, but I see no reason to encourage over the top protection systems that infringe my rights.

well spoken Ramses!
I have also boycotted the purchase of the game for 2 years.
At least, i've bought it cause i wanna play it.
But it's no behaviour for distributing games this way!
If i buy a game for a lot of EUR i wanna do with this game whatever i want. Not with steam & Halflife 2. Once activated you can never resell it again. That's poor!

Imagine you would buy a car and couldn't sell it after the admittance again. Protest, Revolution, War! Inconceivable! :suprise:
