BABY FOOD w/GLASS

I know this is off topic, even for the SPAM, but it is very important. My brother, who lives in Boston, USA, just sent me this letter:
"I wanted to pass this along ASAP and you should forward to anyone you
know that uses Beechnut baby food in a glass jar.
Yesterday I got a call from the daycare stating that they found a large
portion of glass, 1/2 of the top of another jar, with lots of shards
inside the bottle of Beechnut baby food. Our boy had eaten 3/4 of the
jar already and they were concerned that he might have eaten GLASS!!!
Of course we contacted our pediatrician and they stated that there isn't
any easy way of detecting glass inside the body. We are having to keep
an eye on his stool and urine for blood and we are very concerned for
him as well as others that have kids. After contacting the company I
didn't get a warm fuzzy about how they were going to deal with it. I'm
going to contact Wal-Mart (Amherst, NH) and Stop & Shop (Milford, NH) to
let them know that we might have gotten the food from there.
Our boy seems to be okay and we are monitoring him.
Thanks,"
If any of you use "Beechnut" baby food, look through it very carefully.
I do not know how the kid is doing yet, but as long as this post is open, and it does not get deleted, I will update.
I Know that not all of us, like VAN read this all the time, so if you guys spreed the word, it yould be nice.
