Hi guys from }TCP{,
I want to show you a map I have mad in the past half year.
ONS-Bionyx is a classical onslaught battle with large terrain and many different standard vehicles.
TargetPainter, Deemer and IonPainter are also avaiable upside some hills and rocks.
Many static meshes are made by myself with Blender.
Recommended for 20+ players.
Botpathing is fully included.
Download:

I removed fog for the following screens to give you a panoramic view of the map.
Have fun! :byebye:

This map looks very classy from the screenshots, I love that organic blend of colours.
Carnage, is there any way that we could use ONS maps in the BIG TAM games we have from time to time ? Some of those ONS maps are spectacular .... although it might confuse any unsuspecting ONS player who happened to drop in

Hi!
Wow, this map looks really awesome! Can't wait to try it!
Unfortunately, the download link does indeed not work and a search for "Bionyx" on filefront couldn't find it.
Anyway, I found it
here, so Carnage and 54j0 can add it to their servers.
Coco.

Thx for reply.
Unfortunately I found a little fault within the map.
Im not sure for all but my testserver break after a match has ended.
This appeared after I placed the
last
structure in the map.
Its a static mesh to cover the core a bit more and I really didnt notice that this would happen...
It seems that the power core dont like any geometrie in its neighbor.
Anyway, atm I try to fix this and give you the correct downloadlink after.
Please be careful and dont blow up your server!
Btw of course you can host this map

I can give you -when Im done- a link to a testserver. So you can easily try the map.
regards

I got it!
Damn, this was really bad luck. I tested the beta of this map for 2 weeks on my server and everything was stable and ok.
Just before release I decided to cover the core with one (1!) more static mesh.
I set this mesh to a mover with no pathcolliding because I dont wanted to break the white pathline for bots to the core.
That causes the exception.
I will upload the map within the day.
I made some more screenshots when I tested the map yesterday with more realistic settings (fog enabled).

I have done the work on my map now.
A little summary:
- -Lots of custom Static Meshes
-Low Grav Area at Center Node
-Physics (Bouncing Rocks in LowGrav, flexible Boxes)
-Custom WeaponLocker from Wulff (ammunition adds up)
-All avaiable Onslaught Vehicles are in map implemented
-Botpathing fully included
-Ejaculating LavaPlants
-some Dinosaurs
Map is tested online.
No Additional files or bonuspack is needed to play this map. All thinks are embedded into one map file.

I played the old version yesterday, and when I killed the core, it killed my computer, like you said. I kind of figured it would, but I wanted to see for myself.
It is a nice map, with allot of thought put into it. One of the things that bothered me a bit, was the nodes take too long to charge.
I liked the low grav boulders, and the redeamer in the air. It would take practice to get to it.
There was one empty room, in the mines, that looks like it was made for something, then forgotten?
Other than that, a great map. I will DL the newer version today and try it out.
How did it play online? DId you have any packet lose, or LAG?
