YAY genius Tranq :) ... One of my all time favourites, it will sit really well with Loxi (all bow to Kobra), Mojo and the other one (you know, used to be Carnage's favourite, got sticky water in the centre now, doh what was it called, banging head on the desk) :D

Who added the vote on the top? No, the betas should stay. It is an important part of the map making that the players play the map, to see wherre the errors are. I wuold have never known about the lifts in Rock The House, if it was not for the players telling me.

I totaly agree
The Beta's are just needed to implement the usualy small thing u only see when u play the map
with a few people and have some other people take a look at it.

Because well it is soo easy to miss something that is right in front of your own nose

So i say Stay

Well, you see what I think about the beta version of a map. It is necesary, and almost a must. But I would still like to know who voted against it, and there reasons. There is something not clear here, I think.

the only bad thing with those beta versions are that we have to bother carnie to add them and remove them when the final version comes out ^^
sometimes it happens that ppl make like 3 or 4 beta versions (like me on toysoldiers and its still not finished at all^^) which also annoys the players who have to download so much :p

I have also nightmares about this. But if there is no responce from others, there would be no great games. I hope that Mr. Carnage also understands this, ( I am sure he does). He is a great guy and also likes the new games. :)

For me personally, this is more a positive thing. I'm always curious about new versions of known maps. I remember how much I liked the new Toysoldiers with the new textures and the holes in the doors when I wasn't yet in the clan. And even now it's the same with Hustle, TheCaverns, Bittersands, etc. (and these are not from our clan members). The downloads don't bother me at all. I'm pretty sure most players have their cache holding time set to the standard value of 30 days, so they'll have to download the custom maps every 30 days anyway.

And last but not least, new versions of TCP made maps show the players out there that the maps are still being worked on, feedback is considered and we're a productive clan overall. Isn't this really positive?

Coco.

I played the map vrs bots on the server earlier today .... I didn't spot any major problems with it, except that the bot got confused a lot, which is no problem for me

It felt good to strutt and stomp that old ground again :D
