This map owns all the other DM maps I ever seen. Its a shame to don't have it on server. Created by Hourences (the guy who gave us Rankin, Dawn, Torlan and few other high quality maps), the map is sometimes called "Rankin2". A must-have map.

Ye, but u have to ask Hourencess for that. I don't think he'll let you to put more zone portals or antiportals :).

LOL? :P The map has already a low - detail version, just go to settings and set the level details to LOW. Besides, the optimization (zones, anti portals etc.) is almost perfect, and don't try to tell me that a guy who has released 70+ maps for UT/UT2003/UT2004 don't know how to optimize maps. :P

Maybe Frank thinks that Hourences can't do well opitimized maps? I can forgive him that.

Yeah, Mel, you are right. I was just thinking of maybe takeing out some detail that does not need to be there. But MBB is also right, I would have to contact Hourance and ask permission, and he would say no anyways. I will work on Observatory, and my maps for now and get these out, and leave this one alone.

Downloading from these servers is almost impossible! You have to click a dozen times until you can finally start the download. But it won't work unless you active JavaScript, enable Cookies, post your social security number and whatever... If you finally make it, you either get one out of the 90% of their servers that don't respond at all or you have to wait 7 minutes before the DL starts. This is totally annoying!

Doesn't anyone know proper download sites?

Coco.

Hi!

Well, FileFront doesn't work at all. If I try to download there, I keep getting this message:
Your download has failed. You have an invalid session set. Click here to try your download again.
Clicking "here" brings up the same message again. I guess, I'd have to activate Javascript and Cookies, but I won't do that for such a site.

At NaliCity, today when I tried to download from there, most of the mirrors didn't work (one was FileFront, so the above problem occured). The only working one was 3DDownload and there I had to wait 7 minutes while watching stupid ads! I made a snapshot that I will attach to this post.

However, I think 4 clicks are quite much already, cause it means you have to load 4 other pages until the DL starts.

Anyway, I looked into my maps directory and noticed that I had the map already. :-)
