Designers Corner!

I was thinking that since there are so many people level designing now, why not make a Designers Corner in the forum. It could then have a sub-title area for the maps being published, and questions asked. Is just a thought. Frank

yes frank i would like to obtain knowledge on making AS maps and i was thinking do you have any links for any tutorials or videos or stuff?

you could be masters. There are tut's up the ying-yang, and videos and ALLLOOOOTTTT of designers. It is all in english, but there you can get help. If someone wants to start on a map, or if you need help with something you do not understand, then just ask here. :-)

OK so today I made my first basic map in Max Payne editor, but I didn't play it yet, coz I need to compile it or something :/.

k got a new problem need help with i want to create an AS objective that opens a new door via a mover.

how can i link the completed objective to the moving of the mover?

do you guys have that problem too with the editor when you load the texture package 'myLevel' during a map then random brushes and static meshes add to ur map for some strange reason and even some brushes get delete.. so ur map is kinda messed up after loading the package and rebuilding lol
wondering if you guys have the same problem or is it just me? i lost lots of work on maps by this bug till i found out that the reasone is loading the 'myLevel' package ^^

I have never loaded the myLevel package. I would not see that that would cause problems though. I will give it a try.

@CEE: Yeah man, it is almost the same. But here it is a direct link to help and making maps. The other is basically just problems that PLP are having.
