Talk English Rule

Okay guys, I am starting to find it annoying to hear all sorts of languages on the server and being left out of a conversation. If it meant to private then you should go on ICQ or somewhere else anywhere, because game servers are no chat rooms.
So, now we have this brilliant rule that everybody talks ENGLISH on the server, it is written in bold letters on your screen when you join. But... even clan members ignore the rule and talk what they like.
Now, what's the deal, do we have the rule or not? Because if it is a rule, I intend to enforce it in the future and mute anyone who says anything non-English after 2 or 3 warnings, including clan members and moderators. If it is no rule, then we should reconsider even mentioning it in our MOTDs/intro text in game.

I think the rule should be upheld.

Anyway imo u can say hi/bye etc to a friend/clanmate in your own language, just not the whole time talking in other languages.

you cant expect every single word talkin in english, its ok if you sometimes talk something else then english but it shouldnt go on the whole game.

Wolf...just do it...mute ppl after a few warnings...why not?..It's their fault..they know after a few warnings that you dislike them speaking a language against the rules..It is a rule..yes..so if you don't like it just mute them, that is what it is for..
And yes..it also counts for clanmates, but ur clanmates will eventually stop doing it if they keep getting muted by you, non tcps might not..but who cares? It's about you..you are trying to have fun at a game..and if it doesn't work do something about it..i totally agree on you if you would mute this person(s).

Is "mambo jambo" english? Because I hear its mumbo jumbo instead with a "u", Im stuck with the german way of mAmbo jAmbo

I demand that you people give me admin rights, there should be at LEAST one active admin who CAN be around daily..and be contacted at anytime. There was a whole TCP team last night playing(All of us were helpless) there was some crap said by those "Isucktomuch" guy's and Ramses might remembering telling them to stop. Which they did, I think.

Well I didn't like the way they were talking to Wargirl, it was out of order. They stopped when I said that was enough so no further action was needed, but I think Cheshire may still have been around if needed.
Mambo Jambo is fine btw

I'm surprised you guys pick English as the main language being that most of the members are german. Don't take that wrong as I can only speak English. Still it's a tough call. Personally I feel this, if I'm talking to a group of people who suddenly start talking a language I don't understand I find it easy to think I'm the subject of "said" conversation. That may or may not be the case but nonetheless it comes to down to "respect". Here in America we are bombarded with many languages no matter where you are. Heck you can't call anywhere without the option to hear in Spanish. Even the ATM machines have the option for different languages. I applaud your choice for an English speaking only channel though. Like I mentioned it's a matter of respect and that shows alot of respect to everyone to have one language used.

There are about as many dutch people as there are germans in the clan..
It is a big weakness if you can't speak english..sooner or later it will become the 1st language of this planet.
I think that people who have the option to learn english should do so. (not talking about countries like africa) if you chose not to in my eyes you should die.
You can fight it..and it will not work. Accept it..english will be the 1st world language wether you like it or not.
Another thing that bugs me is, when some other language dood comes to the server and starts talking to YOU in his own language, it shouldn't take him that long to find out..you aren't the same nationality..but they don't seem to understand cuz they will continue speaking in that language as if they couldn't believe that there are countries that don't speak there language. Well enough ranting for one day. Basically if you don't speak english, but, you can easily learn it. Then you should not be near me.

Yeah we should speak English on server. Its international languae so we should use it. But sometimes you were against when I was talking Polish, so why you were using German?

We are a truly international Clan

, our current membership as far as I know consists of ....
10 from Holland
7 from Germany
6 from England + 1 on tryout
3 from Poland
2 from Norway
1 from USA
1 from Portugal
As a native English speaker I wouldn't personally insist on anyone speaking English, but I feel lucky that English is the international language because I was never good at learning them, as any Frenchman will testify after my attempts at communication in French
