Maybe it will be better if you first record a demo (type DEMOREC FILE_NAME in the console to start recording), than play the demo and use fraps?

Yes, for ut2k4, this is actually a good idea. You should make sure you have all the needed files locally though, like all maps being played and the mods (TAM probably in this case).

Another option would be to take a 2nd computer and use its TV-in (if it has one) and your TV-out (if it has one) in conjunction. If you have a dual-core computer, it should also be possible to tell ut2k4 to use one CPU core and fraps the other, then the 2 applications should not interfere (so much) with each other (theoretically).

If you need fraps hit me up by pm or sentic_[at]hotmail[dot]com, I've got a cracked (yes i cant be arsed paying) pretty up to date version. When I still played a bit of counterstrike I was making a movie aswell from all the scrims, and recording a demo and then afterwards record it with fraps is the best method imo.

What are you editing it with? Movie maker, or? I can advise sony vegas, it's more difficult but worth a try, also renders the video at like 800fps so it looks really smooth.

Edit: oioi, typed a wrong MSN, forgot the _ :).

You can download it here.

It's a trial, but with a serial you can make it a full version:

Serial:

JF-3EV9GF-9BNSW0-0Y5J5K

You might need an activation code aswell:

JF-76Q0KS-G2M18D-XRTH2W

P.S. If I'm not allowed to post this feel free to remove it guys. ;)

i got a problem every time i attempt to install it says there was a error reading the install package.
the install package is either corrupt or your temporary folder is out of disk space.

Well UT2004 contains option "Create Avi" of movie what you did. It takes long but after some time you will finally have it. I don't remeber exactly, but your AVI movie should appear in (lets use my directory for example) E:\Gry\UT2004\UserMovies . Im not sure, but I tried something like that so Im willing to help :).
