Ou by the way there is some bug in first screen but it doesn't exist on map. It might be some screen fail.

Nice map, all the flaks are really cool ("flak monkey") ;)

The outer part with small hills (where the redeemer is) is nice....:)

The textures are not always that cool, but for your 2nd map, it's really good

Well I cant dl it because the links dont work for me. Oh and I dont think I can use .rar files either, the last time I tried I was expected to subscribe or register before they would allow a dl :(

Yeah, I'd prefer another compression algorithm like .tar.gz or .tar.bz2 instead, too.....and as this is not a large map, you can also upload it without compression directly as .ut2 file....

No. I tried as a .ut2, but it cannot upload to the forum. I don't know maybe its too big for forum. Ramsey try upload a zip compression of my map. Maybe it will work. I changed attachment to .zip in my first post.
If it still doesn't work, so try download it from: http://unrealtournament2004.filefront.c ... nium;65899

I get an invalid session message from there, I guess its a cookie hungry site ... or maybe it just likes pop-ups :?

Thanks for trying anyway :) I will catch it in game.

If you want I will email it to you Rams. :D

I looked at the screenies just now, and it looks good. Really nice. Of coarse I did not have to find the texture problem, Kobra was fast on that one.

I downloaded it and will cheack it out right away.

OK! I just checked ou tthe first room and I must say you have come a long way and it looks as if you are learning fast, but of coarse we all make mistakes, and I made a few of the ones that you just did. There are a few minor ones like floating barrels, that really are just, mistakes, that you can go back and lower the barrel, and thats it. There are others though, that need a little attention. I take it that you have just started learning about the terrain editor? It is one of the most powerful tools in the Unreal engine. It will take time to learn it and use it to its full extent. NEVER give up on it. You will get the hang of it and make great levels. But that is just it. It takes time. I made a few screenies of the terrain and other things that will be obvious to you where the mistake is. The hanging terrain is really not a mistake, but it takes up memory and if you do not use blocking volumns in front of the terrain, the hole caused here on the top, will be a real hasel in game play.

I also had the same problem with the sky box in my first level. You can see the rest of the level through the skybox. There is a way to fix this, but I am mot sure how anymore. I aviod the problem altogether, by making the rest of my level deeper than that of my skybox.

This one confussed me a little bit. The top of the trees seem to have a second, one sided texture. Do not know. Good luck on that one.

I have more, but I think you get the message. Look your level over first and then post it for testing. I am in the middle of my first posted ONS map. I have made 6 other ones that only me and my 4 walls will ever see.

Problem with skybox I wanted to cover by making hills higher. I know that there are few bugs I aslo noticed them bit it was my first time when I was creating terrain. To the tress: I don't know how fix that problem but in game it isn't so easy to notice.

Yeah, in game you can only notice it, when you are on top of the mountains. You can make an invisible wall, called a blocking volumn, to keep the people from going to far up the hill.
