Standart Maps when Server is empty

Hi there...

I have had a problem on the DM / TDM / TAM server today....

This server is often empty and when it's empty the server chooses a random map.

Unfortunately, there are many maps on the server and I (and other people either I think) don't have these maps...

So there is the problem:
If anyone (like in this case me and Psycho) want to play a bit on the server, they have to download all the maps and stuff first, so they can join and change the map (via mapvote).
Downloading this stuff took me more than half an hour (for about 17mb).... Psycho wasn't online anymore when I had downoaded it....

So, is it possible that - if noone is on the server - to change the map to a standart map or so, a map like Deck17 which no one has to download....?

I will take a look at that
I don't think it's possible though but perhaps there is some mod/fix for that

You could try this old trick to stop dl files from being deleted:

Open the UT2004.ini in Notepad, search for purge, replace the 30 with a 0 and save.

PurgeCacheDays=0

We used it in Unreal and it saves having to dl obscure maps in-game every 30 days :)

Yes, but some peoples like me has low HDD free space, coz I have many games on disk. That means that i can't just download every map from our server.
