Seletct all actors, delete all, and save it under another name. I think it is not your level, but one of the actors. We can pinpoint it by taking it one step at a time. Do not get dicouraged. YOu have a nice map, and it could replace "Gunshop". Keep up the good work and I am here if you need me.

Heya m8 i've been meaning to ask u if u could modify this version a little bit
This in order to make it more playable when the server is filling up.

So the plan i had in mind is perhaps darken the map a little bit
and perhaps add some soft of doors that seperate the room ( this would help a lot i think because then the view would be limited w way more and thus helping the gameplay)

I don't think the map needs any other changes because all the people play it a lot and realy seem to like it .. just the laggyness of it get frustrating at times

Lemme know what ya think :)

Cheers
Car...

Yeah i did see it m8 (i think it was the last one with the bikes right )

But the problem with that one is that it is way too big to download for people

Had a look at this one on the server the other day, it's not bad. Bit open and spacey, but i guess that's okay for a mouse map... I reviewed a mouse map on Usermaps once:

"One thing has to be said about 'mouse maps': They are d**ned hard to make. Without very careful planning, they come out bland and uninteresting. You would think that a trip round your own house/flat/bin would give anyone all the inspiration they need to make the best 'mouse map' ever. The difficulties come with positioning things in your room so that:

1) There are no huge flat areas of nothing.
2) Traveling from one part of the map to another is quick and efficient.
3) There are 4 or 5 places where you have a good vantage point over the rest of the map. "

I'd say you'res aint bad. It's helped by the vehicles of course, for quick movement from one are to another. I especially liked the center room with the little miniature walls, alot of strategy is needed to take both points, because the teams usually colide there at the beginning of each round.

Anyhow, i like it. Good job.

Yeah and since it quite populair an the server i thought it would be nice if it could be optimized a bit.

Now people play it but when the server gets a bit fuller the pings and lag start to act up

So it bit of tweaking would make it much better :D

ill try to upload the latest version of ToySoldier tommorow, but i dont think i can shrink the map size too much, maybe i can set the texture file to 10mb by using other textures instead of the costum ones and the map itself is actually 18mb, not sure if i can do there something...

What about that one that I redid for you? It was smaller and had less polys. You will have to put everything back in again, but it will be smaller and may run better.

that would be like 20 hours work i made after that point :)
and i think you just made static meshes out of a few things which i already done in the latest version :)

i will upload it tommorow and lets see how that runs with the black fog and doors ^^

The static meshes were just a small part. The walls are now One brush instead of multi brushs. There would be less for the Unreal engine to have to draw. Try your new level out with the fog and all, but I think that the fog would look alittle unnatural. Good luck man.
