who can help me fix this map

Imported an ut map ctf-face,
there's this probbie that the sky box doesn't rotate when it runs on a server.

when i run it local it rotates like it should.

it's build in 226f made it 225f with an hex editor

Many people have wondered about that. There was a big discussion between Krull and some others when he re-made Route66 (it is 66 isn't it? i don't remember), i'll see if i can find it...

Hi Tranq :)

goto your skyzone properties.

look in the movement secion.

find the rotation section.

set the pitch to 24, roll 12124, and the yaw to -3304

rebuild then you will have rotaring sky :)

Actually forget those settings and just set in the skyzone properties/networking to ROLE_SimulatedProxy :)

i found the settings in route66v2 :)

Thanks for the help fellas
did not work tryed 3 ways
on the server the skybox looks bad doesnt rotate in a botmatch it looks and
rotates like it should. :? :roll:

or you could ask krull if you could use the skyzone from 66 maybe and edit the rotation value to the way it should be for face :)

:? ok then retry the ROLE_SimulatedProxy option. it works fine!! i used the map you provided in this topic, opened it in the ed changed the ROLE_SimulatedProxy setting , rebuilt it then i put it on my server and the rotation was active

could u send the map to me :)

Would like to put the redeemer in it, found this ut99weapon pack one big u file only 14.557 kB :shock:
or another sort of redeemer kind of weapon if there is for U1?
it def need better respawn points and rifle behind the towers...
think if i do it with my editor it doesn't work. :evil:
