The notation with the slashes / is generally the USA notation, MM/DD/YYYY.
ISO 8601 is YYYY-MM-DD (with minus as delimeter). One alternate US notation is yy/dd/MM.
Personally I prefer ISO 8601 best over all notations, including the European one, because it allows for easy sorting

But the game page is in german, that is why I took it as it is a german date. My bad.
