Hi!
Strange, why can't you upload maps to the redirect server? The public redirect servers I know (and also the one I used for FH#4 in the beginning) all support uploading of UZ2 compressed files via FTP . I'm pretty sure there must be such on option for the server you're using as well. Simply check its website or google for it.

Here yah go. Its not called the Ripper, its called the RipJack.
Dont replace the mini tho, get rid of the assult rifle or bio. Which are hardly ever used in invasion. ( well by me ).

Hi!
So you're having problems with your FTP client rather than with the redirect server? Did you check your firewall/router settings? Did you use FTP in passive mode? Active mode requires advanced firewall configuration to work through a router!
Anyway, in case it's the redirect server, maybe you should try the one from gameservers.net.
Here's an info site with all settings for UT 2004 (and the FTP account info for map uploads as well).

Hi!
Hmm, that's strange, really. Is it possible that the FTP server of your redirect server us using a non standard port? Usually, the port for FTP would be 21, but if that server uses a different one, you have to configure that as well in the server list of your client.
Which redirect server are you using btw.? Maybe I can do some testing...
