Yes other then that it seemd quite nice
We had some nice turnarounds wich is always good :)

It might need a few more fast vehicles ar at least some more vehicles coz when the server gets filled up u end up walking lots of times coz they are all gone prhaps 1 or 2 more at the core / helbenders perhaps coz they can hold 3 peeps

other then that very nice job map played very good fps wise and gameplay was good too :D

Nicely done m8

Cheers

We played this map today on the server....

I have to say: Nice work!

You really got improved this map since the last time...

The small hills can be used to attack nodes with more tactics...
The trees look nice.
Defending the Core is quite easy and taking back the controll, too....

Perhaps adding some more small vehicles like manta/scorpion/hellbender.....

Hope to play this map a bit more on the server :)

Thanks guys. I was thinking of adding some Other types of vehicles, maybe the ece's but I have not downloaded the package yet. I think you are right Car, a few hellbenders would be just the right touch. When I played it yesterday, the first thing that bothered me was the "emptiness" through the valleys. It is hard to put deco on a straight cliff. I will have to think of something. I am glad to hear that you like it. Thanks. Frank

If you readd back a few posts, you will see, yeah, it still needs work. What are your comments on the level? What does it need? I want to redo the textureing. Just add a few more images on the bottom level where it looks so empty. And someone found a hole in the water on one of the edges. I think the terrain got moved somehow. And of coarse weapons and vehicles... there need to be more. But I think this is playable for the time being, and if you guys like it, then we can keep it here for now and I will work on it alittle everyday.

i think its good playable now, the other things you could edit on the map wont change the gameplay much (thats what i think).
only abit more decorations i would like to see in the powercore room, for example making it to an engine room or computer room and not just a empty room with a powercore in it.
i saw you put a powernode station at 2 nodes which i would like to see at other nodes too.. maybe not exacly the same powernode stations but something similar.
the vehicles..yea.. maybe a few more ece vehicles wont be bad, and a thing which i also like is vehicle factory stations that shows a player how many vehicles can respawn at a node when the vehicle are just taken by others.

i must say i played the map last night at 4:00 am and i was pretty tired, it was just me on the server with another guy VS Bots. now im not sure if it was the Bots fault that all vehicles wasnt locked for me (not sure if the bots always joined there vehicles and changed to the next and in the end didnt even used one?) or you changed something in the editor for the nodes so that you can always hijack enemy vehicles :S

also i got to say you map improves since the last version, i liked the 'dock' where you can get out of the water when you fall into it.
but the teleporter you put there which teleports you right next to the powercore is abit..daring ^^

ok thats it for now, keep up working it seems to be good fun :D

Thanks allot man, that helped me out. Not many PLP like the map. I have noticed alllot of outsiders, (non TCP PLAYERS), have allot to say about it, but I think if we use the crosover nodes, and not the basic ones it would be allot more enjoyable. I have also thought about putting 4 more nodes in, at the small buildings and on the other side. This would give me more space to put in more vehicles, and then the players would use those areas. I was depressed beforre because of the reaction from outsiders, but TCP is backing me up, and that gives me insperation. Thank you very much and the rest of you also. I am glad to be a (silent) part of your team.

Well people usualy just say what they think off the map .. not even noticing the BETA name after the map .

I did hear a lot of good comments about it and of course negative things as well , not all people like the same kind of maps obviously .
But seeing as it get's voted on quite regulairly by the regulair people there it must be doing something right :)

And as i said before it looks very promising and i'm sure that after some little updates gere and there it will get even better :)

Keep it up m8

Cheers

Just had a thought  Would a footbridge on the approach near the powercore be a workable feature ?

I havent played the updated version yet, but last week I was running along the top of the approach valley (I can't drive well yet and there are a lot of roadhogs on the server :P) but had to jump down when I reached the ringroad. One of those suspension footbridges might look nice, with a path and zigzag downpath near the core entrance ? Something like that, asymetrical (not both sides of the core). No idea how much work that would be, just a thought :)

Car, thanks for the encouragement. I have noticed on the server that PLP are wanting to play. It is new and there are things to explore. I think this could be a good map. I will keep up the updates. THX

Hey Ramses, I think that might be possible. I am not sure where you mean to put the foot bridge though. If you mean from the one sie of the valley to the core, yes it is possible, and I just noted it. I good idea. An original. That may be one of the details and the originall parts that I was looking for. Thank you. Keep them coming guys. :-)

From memory, I meant on the way from the nearest right side node to the core when the core is in the South (about a third of the way there, on the right hand side of the valley from memory), not across the main route to the core but along it. I assume there is a similar route to the North Core but it wouldn't really matter :)

I am not sure if Car got this out to everyone. So I will post the 4 parts here, and feel free to tinker with it as you like. Frank
