No Ramses, that's the file that holds the entire TAM/Freon code!

Really strange...

Well I dont think I have ever installed that TAM file manually so it must be from a server, probably one of ours as I don't visit alien servers very often :P

hmm, i know i had 1 prob with most of tcp servs tho. When i download, cudder?, cuppler(cant remember exact name), but its freon related. And if i extract it usin UT extractor i cant join the serv. I gota delete it after the extraction somwhere in the UT folder. So now i never extract that file, i download it evry month now about. Cause otherwise i cant join.

Could it be something simliar with the tam file ramses?.

Still very weird tho, dont quite add up.

Thanks for trying rams. :)
Hmm, u need to get rid of the file in ur system folder of UT2004. And try to join my server when u just booted UT2004, and not coming from an other server.

@Ronny.
As mentioned, you shouldn't (generally) have third party system (.u) files in other places than the cache. Once an updated version is released under the same name you will get a conflict error. The cache cares about the package identifier, not the name, so it's fine there. However, it's usually okay for maps that provide their own system files. Not sure if that's your problem, but it's the most common one.

hmm, i only got cache exctractor that might be a third party system, but its not installed in UT2004 folder. Its an old version, who just identify the cache files and put them correctly. But i have to start it manualy, not an auto thing. Few other things too, the cuddles file i either download from tcp serv or other freon serv when joining, if i extract it i cant join on TCP servers anymore cause it conflicts, but yet i can join other Freon server who use this file without it beeing an updated version. No change to the file either whatsoever, just that its been extracted. Also again it started 10-12months ago or something, before that i had it extracted to somewhere:P(but same place) in the ut folder and it dident have any conflict thing back then. As always Technology has no logic. xD. Just a small weird prob for me.

Shouldn't be that complex. :)

BTW: You could open cache.ini after playing several servers, and if you find more than one reference to the same cuddles file, it would mean there are different versions on the servers you play.
