first i put the light effects "disco" and "watershimmer" (dunno if i spelled right) and i noticed that there is a little lag if i use too much of these lights so i just put a standard light there.
i also thought to change the light in the water with the "zoneinfo" this will only change the light in the water and not outside of it i think...
couse water without any light looks strange :)

and yes ur right... with software render you can look through the walls :/
so i just need to put a window sheet behind/infront of the water ?
i will test it soon.

um nope not quite. change the water sheet to a regular zone portal (i.e. same as water, but invisible) then put window sheet in front of it.

although, the way you just suggested might work too, now that i think of it...

and ya i was thinking of the watershimmer effect...if you just make 1 or 2 of them watershimmer, and leave the rest normal, that should look nicer...

...whats with all the nalis and mantas and stuff you can see in the editor?

whats with all the dead ends?
first i put a AMP in the map and who ever wanted to take would teleport into the hell with all the small nalis with changed skins and makin strange noises all the time :P
but i thought that i delete it ... no idea why you can see that.

i could see it in all 3 orthographic views (the ones with the lines and stuff hehe) but not in the dynamic view, or in game.

it was very confusing.

the amp idea was very good tho.

oh and it looks like im back a little earlier than i expected, so i'll write a little review for it tomorow

i can't, i dont have all the tex files hehe.

I'm not a big fan of the zietkind maps, so i havent dled it localy since i last formatted and reinstalled and all that crap.

also...you made it in 226? gold? seriously, you should use 224/5 for mapping. I believe it to be an absolute MUST.

your PCs pretty good i thought anyway...more than enough room for two installs of Unreal...
