oh yea they have 3 games modes for mp assualt(kinda ctf) FreeForAll(deathmatch) and TDM team death match so u have options
there is MP footage in the intro that i made

well that would be my opinion
but the graphics are way better than anything i have played so far...(hl2,ut2k4,CSS,DOOM3)
Map maker is the shit
Single player AI is way off the chart
overall game play is a little slower than unreal, but depends on what game type ur playing (assualt,tdm,ffa) as to how the action is
it's a new engine that runs it(as far as i know) allows more options for textures
but thats my opinion other will vary bout 50-60,000 registered players with world ranks
and the EURO people have about 30-40 clans US has 15-20 clans(conservitive guess)
game was released NOV 2004 so not bad for a newer game hope that helps any questons about graphics see the intro i did (Multiplayer shots in intro are at 60fps I get about 80-90 fps in game but video rec is a little slower)

I got Far Cry a couple of weeks ago ... I am still playing it through in single player and very enjoyable it is too .. in fact I've probably enjoyed it more than any FPS in single play since the original Unreal
Shame you cant play Far Cry through in co-op though.
I've not played Half Life 2 (I really dont like that steam thing or the MS type big brother attitude behind it) or Doom yet so I cant compare it with them.
I've only played Far Cry online briefly and I got slaughtered lol
but I was pleasantly surprised because I was expecting a more camping type of gameplay (due to jungle terrain) than actually occurred.
