yeah well just dont convert files that are common or alays changing like uteamfix or whatever. it will just keep your cache small so its easier to find a delete what u dont want.
anyways look:
haha apparently these cache files were last modified in 2010

Ha, those files come from the HyperCoop cache package. (I changed the date to avoid them being purged by Unreal)
}TCP{Cee wrote:Well..It IS a problem in the cache, since when you delete the uteamfix file from the cache, everything works again :/
I never said delete the whole cache, thats why you should browse and look for the file containing the words "uteamfix"..Then you'll never have to remember stuff like obj garbage :/
Again, it's NOT a cache problem. Cache NEVER makes conflicts. The reason it worked for you is that you exited Unreal, whereby you removed the conflicting UTeamFix from your RAM. After you restarted with a clean RAM, you could of course connect witout problems.

Then I guess my Unreal is different, since I'm still unable to join servers when I have the faulty Uteamfix in my cache.. Or at least thats what I remember..why else would I always have deleted the cache file, if it works anyways after restarting ? :/

I already answered that. But i will do it again: When you exit Unreal, the conflicting files in your RAM gets removed too. When you restart Unreal, there are no conflicting files in RAM anymore, so you can join all servers.
But I seem to remember that I still got errors with the uteamfix, when trying to join servers, even after I restarted Unreal..Thats why I started deleting the file from the cache at all
