I would :P

Only when the original name is something unpronouncable or has lots of wierd characters in it would I probably vote for a change. For example I was pleased when Ghost changed his name back to Ghost, and I think Viper was a good move also.

In the end though it's your choise :)

i wouldn't change nicks either, i was called muppet a long time ago in a squatted building. great times there. since then i allways use muppet.

think the same as NMS online people know ya as <NICK>. so best is to keep the same nick if ya don't have problems with people =)

I am mostly with NmS...

//me ducks all the flying bricks with STFU ALIAS WHORE on them//

....okay :-)

Despite my aliasing I never really changed my name. Although I started out as Mia_The_Chaotic (the name of an evil female Hero in Warlords II) I switched to Wolf when I joined TCP because at the time my impression was that every name had at least something todo with the person standing behind it. The only alternate I would have considered is "Scorpion", which I took when playing other games and in my USA clan time years ago. "Wolf" is part of my first name, "Scorpion" my zodiac sign.

My aliases (Beer, Burps, etc...) are just for fun moods and are not to be considered as a name switch, but besides that, anyone recognizes me anyway no matter what name I carry....

I'd rather have names that mean something above anything else, and stick to them. But ultimately, the choice is yours, we don't have a rule on nickname choices, except obviously offensive ones are forbidden, anything else goes.

Well I shorten my name when I joined TCP :). My full name is NeMesIS, but the TCP tag is longer then my previouse clan (7d), so I used NmS instead of NeMesIS. It's still the same name, pronounced the same, etc ;).

Other then that I got 1 alternative name, namely: Boro. I used that name in the past when I wasn't playing under my clanname on public servers. Later on I used that same name while playing World of Warcraft, while playing my NE druid <3.
