been a wile since i did some work on this one. thanks to Frank i got to finish it ^^ *Wiggle* the boostjumps now have emitters. nothing fancy like the ones DM-}TCP{Ramses is going to get. these just go up ^^ so it wasnt so hard after reading the tutorial Frank made. i will be experimenting allot more with them these coming mounths so my maps might go a little slower.
i will never get used to getting to the point so i wont. *Wiggle* the tutormap has some more small changes. built a little more in the middle to hide from the people standing high in the map. ahh , why am i even explaining this, you will see after i upload some pictures or when you download and play it ^^ *Wiggle* this is going to be the final version (exept if something bugs, i have never been good at testing stuff but it has no crucial errors that i can find) the reason would be becouse it is damn hard to adjust it. usualy i dont have a problem with adjusting stuff but this map seems to be displayed in a mirror demention *Wiggle* dont understand what i mean , than just watch and read on *Wiggle*

Image

this picture shows the miror demention display thing. if you havn't noticed already its a bit bigger than the rest :P but thats not what i am trying to point out. look a little closer at where the stairs is in the display vieuw ( lower left screen ( the one without all the lines *Wiggle*)) i have selected it for the conviniance ( and if you dont beleve it is true just download and check in the editor *wiggle* ) what i selected is the stairs. but it stands mirrored to where the stairs realy is x.X *Wiggle*
it is the same with everything built box in this map. so it's still a bit of a cheap map but than again it is my first so i am satesfied *Wiggle*

Image

this pictures shows what i did with the middle room. didnt want to change that much. Cent didnt want the map to change that much :P

Image

this picture shows one of the smaller changes. there are a few more but the map realy started to anoy me afer a while so dont expect grand small changes *Wiggle*

Image

and guess who this pretty little furball is ? i guess you guessed right. if not go straigt to jail, dont cross start and you will not receave 20.000 dollars.
(dont worry , the others wont get 20.000 dollars either *Wiggle* )

this concludes DM-Wigglestutormap

DM-Wigglestutormap is a Wiggle inc product. any distribution , modifications and sale of DM-Wigglestutormap will be considered a great acheavement and should be aplouded for *Wiggle*

I am not sure what is going on with the mirrored parts of your map, I will take a look at it later in the day, though.
I will also try and make the emitters go in the right direction and post it back to you. :) Frank

Hi!

Frank, the archive Wiggle provided above misses a texture called "ColourCrazy". I found it on the web yesterday and added it to the server, so it's playable on FH#4. So if you're going to check it out, be sure to have that file! I'll simply attach it to this post. (Interesting fact: The file is of over 40 MB size and compresses to just 17 KB with 7-Zip!)

I informed Wiggle via PM already (and also gave some further hints).

Coco.

Edit: Damn, adding 7-Zip compressed files isn't possible here, it seems. Just get it from my own webserver here.

7-zip never rly came up from the ground ;)
i guess cause when it came out 7-zip wasn't able to extract any other type of file then .7z

and now people can extract .7z files whit winrar
no1 bothers getting 7-zip anymore

Hi!

Totally wrong, partydevil. :-) In fact, there's absolutely no good reason to use any other archiver than 7-Zip.

1. It can decompress Zip and Rar as well.
2. It offers good encryption.
3. Compression ratio is way better then for any other archiver.
4. Multicore support (significantly speeds up packing/unpacking - even on a dualcore system!)
5. It's free!

Honestly, why should I pay 30 Euro for WinRar or 35 Euro for WinZip when I can have a better one for free?

Due to its Open Source nature, there are ports for Linux, MacOS, BeOS and even Amiga. :-)

So why should I even bother using these over-expensive closed source archivers with worse compression? I can decompress every archive I get and even the WinRar users can unpack what 7-Zip creates.

heumm.... since when you gotta pay for winrar? =S
thats totaly new to me.
and i even downloaded it from the official website
(winzip is old no1 is useing it anymore)

i was talking @ the 1st version of 7-zip
it wasn't able to extract anything els
so it wasn't populair @ most people
it's compression ratio sure is way better then any other free programe
but by far not evry1 use these programe's to compress by themself
and as long winrar can extract them, there is no use in getting 7-zip

and 1 question
what other files then, .7z, .rar, .zip & .iso can 7-zip extract?

edit:
and i didn't mean you gotta use winrar
i ment that not evrything is competible whit 7-zip cause it's not populair
(i wasn't able to come up whit these words when i 1st posted =))

Hi!

Well, didn't wanna make it an archiver discussion, but...
}TCP{partydevil wrote:heumm.... since when you gotta pay for winrar? =S

Then you didn't read the license agreement. ;-) Here's a quote from the official WinRar website:
WinRar website wrote:WinRAR is shareware, meaning you have the chance to thoroughly test it. The program can be used absolutely free of charge for 40 days!
That means that you have to pay for it after 40 days of usage. Just check the prices.
}TCP{partydevil wrote:i was talking @ the 1st version of 7-zip

Hmm, well that may be possible, but it's at version 4.65 meanwhile. I'm pretty sure WinRar 1.0 couldn't unpack 7z as well. ;-)

It sure is. I'm re-packing every map download with 7-Zip and always save some kilobytes - in fact several megabytes mostly (depends on original size though). If you didn't pay for WinRar yet, you have a good reason to get 7-Zip, partydevil. ;-)
}TCP{partydevil wrote:and 1 question

- Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR
- Unpacking only: ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, DEB, DMG, HFS, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MSI, NSIS, RAR, RPM, UDF, WIM, XAR and Z.

Hehe, no problem. What I wanna say: For me, 7-Zip can do all I need and it's best at what it does - and free! That's why I prefer it over any other archiver. :-)

hehe
when winrar opens it give you a option to register / pay / something els
and a button named "close"
press close and you can use winrar freely
no need to pay, just press that button once eatch time it starts
there are no restrictions to the programe when you press close, evrything just works
my 40 day trail version works now for more then 7 year xD (and not only @ me)

(@ wolf: this is legal, winrar made that button work this way ;))

}TCP{Coco wrote: Hmm, well that may be possible, but it's at version 4.65 meanwhile. I'm pretty sure WinRar 1.0 couldn't unpack 7z as well. ;-)
7-zip didn't exist when winrar1.0 came out
winrar1.0 had like only 3 file type's it was possible to extract
winrar is like 10 year old maybe even more
winzip is ancient let's not talk about that =P

i don't pay for winrar and i don't compress things myself
so i got no use in getting 7-zip
(i did try it, but it was nothing for me)

Hi!

It is illegal to continue using WinRar after 40 days of trial - even if the makers made the Close button, lol. No need to even discuss about it.

I know WinRar and WinZip from the beginning and I can tell you: their time is over! They have been outdated by newer and better software.

Coco.
