It happened a bit after I installed the new Catalyst drivers..Too bad it didnt go away after I removed them again.. I'm already thinking of a conspiracy theory, seeing that the same thing happened to my old Nvidia card as well..As if the newer drivers kill older cards on purpose, so you have to buy new ones :P

Hi!

Strange, I have similar issues with my NVidia 7600 GT card after installing version 175.19 of the drivers. :-(

But fortunately, UT2004 is not affected by this. The problems just appear in Neverwinter Nights 2 and The Witcher.

Coco.

Really strange. Maybe some cards just do not like to have new drivers? I have got 8600 GT and nothing happens  Though Cee's conspiracy theory may be true.

I assume the fan on the vid card is still working alright ? I had similar problems caused by a failing vid card fan, I glued an old chip fan on and the problems went away (I couldn't find a replacement vid fan so I improvised :P).

Cee, somewhere in the cellar I've a spare 6600GT AGP and a 3450 PCIe. Dunno whether they're enough for UT2k4, but would
borrow them if u wanna test em.
