1. my view on the bible aint bad because some people dont like it, but for others its a way of life and it gives them hope.
2. Religion cant be explained as a secret, in my opinion its a state of mind.
3. If your family is sooo old and holds the truth of the bible then you should keep that truth because sometimes secrets should stay secrets.

Why are we even talking about this?
Discussions about religion only cause hate and destruction, keep your opinion about whatever faith to yourself.
What I believe is so tremendous that it would shatter every religion on this planet, if it were true, I ofcourse do not know if it is true, but no one knows that about their faith. Therefore it is best to not speak about anything you cannot prove, including faith, the importance remains that YOU yourself believe in it and that it helps you with having a good life. Other than that, it's all relative..

The answer to that was figured out in the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.
The answer is 42.

Idd that is the answer

but we don't know the ultimate question. "Whats the meaning of life ?" can't be it because the Universe would end if we knew both the question and the answer, or did I misunderstand that bit ?

Wasn't the question: 'What is the solution to all problems in the universe?'

Was it ? I don't know because there are a couple of episodes in the later radio series that I missed

, and it must be 25 years since I read the trilogy. I do know that 42 is useful as an answer when you really don't have a clue what the questioner is going on about, for example how many levels are there in the Egyptian Book of the Dead ?

Hi!
Hehe, that's true. Well, I'm not really sure myself, but I remember it like this.
Btw.: Today, I found out that my thermostat is of the brand "Theben", model called "Ramses 722".

They also have products called Pharao, Memphis, Amun, Sphinx, etc.
