Here is a chart with a hole range of cpu's. Just pick the ones you like along with an application or one of the games and see for yourself what the performance difference is. Unfortunately it doesnt have a big list of games. Most of them are old, but will still show you what you want to see.

And ddr-3 isnt worth now, if you consider it, wait a few months until they finally got the right architecture, I think its stupid they already brought out ddr3 if it doesnt even beat ddr2 but is twice more expensive..........................bunch of noodle-heads if you ask me....

who cares about ddr3.. ddr2667 is fine for every game pc.. ddr2800 for everyone who wants to oc.. and you can even go higher..
believe me.. you won't be needing ddr3 for a while
