Thank you all for the wonderful felicitations...

I did have a nice day. Took the afternoon off and had a nice time with the kids. Both of them made drawings for me. The eldest daughter of 4 just found out how to draw a simple doll with a few lines so now she draws dolls on every possible surface :P and the youngest of 2 just dipped her hand in paint and made a nice stamp on a piece of paper.

I don't know if I will be starting to play UT any time soon. I tried to play a few games this week but the feeling remains the same.

It's nice but I found a game that I like much better for the time being. To give an example I'm am at the moment busy designing stuff using 3d building tools and photoshop, selling them in in my own online store that I also built from the ground up. Some of these things are scripted. To have music in that shop I had to figure out how to run a shoutcast server. I mean these are just a few examples of how this game combines a lot of things like designing, programming, networking, chatting, shopping, hanging out, you name it into a single game and thus far it appeals to me much more than the mindless bang bang bang all evening. No offense to those who do like it.

I think maybe if there would be a nice single player game like we used to have with Unreal 1 that would get me interested again but as it is, the game UT 2004 is just way too limited.

Hi!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day, which I'm glad to hear about. :-)

Do whatever you like. I think, being productive is the best way to make use of your spare time.

All the best,
Coco.
