Ok, but what counts is if the players
here have fun playing them. And as long as such maps are being voted (which is a majority decision), this seems to be the case.

Now, I know that this is a very old topic and I normally don't do archeological excavation, but this time I think we should reconsider the current server settings.
Today, VolcanoHigh took 92 Minutes (1,5 hours) again (I looked it up on the IRC logs)
Playing a map half an hour is fun, but after one hour it quickly gets boring. I prefer not to wait till the end, I usually leave the server and come back later, and I think that's what others do, too,.
So, what do you think would be best to reduce map time? Reduce time till overtime? Make power cores drain more quickly? Reduce necessary points for a team to win (currently 3)?

I think we could try the faster overtime
It IS already a bit faster then standard .. but we could always speed it up a notch

Hi!
I'm sorry to bring this topic up again, but after playing like this for some weeks now, I must say the overtime is simply too fast! There's almost no time for a team to turn a disadvantage into an advantage again. This means: If you have a disadvantage when overtime starts, you're doomed to lose in 95% of the matches.
Therefore, I would suggest to set the value back to the previous "a bit faster than standard" one. Do you agree, the_kay? Or do we have further opinions about this?
