There would be no warnings for me, just instalifelongban
Stopping to play ONS was easy after playing TAM. Just the loading times alone justify such an act...and of course the way better fps :O

Yeah I enjoy the TAM, I'm still not sure what to do for best in ONS, I need more time to get used to the vehicles and things

Well banning someone for ever is most likely not possible.
I think you can ban 2 things:
1. nickname: easy to change. no problem for the player
2. IP: it is very unlikely that the player has a static IP adress, so ususally it changes one time in 24 houres...

Well each player also has his own CUID .
And this is where u get banned on too not just the ip and name
So basilcy banned is banned.
But there are always ways of course

The first time I tried to buy UT2004 was over the ebay. I even got the thing, but it was strange, on the cover, all those numbers.... about 10 rows of Ser Num's
So it is possible to get banned for ever, and then turn around reinstall under one of the other Num's and there it is.

Haven't ip ranges been used in the past also to cover ips that are not static ? Sure there are peeps with knowldge to get around such things, but not that many, and at least its inconvenient for them.

LOL Frank, I think you bought an illegal copy maybe? Normally you get 1 (ONE) serial number and that's it! If you get rows and rows of them I'd bet those are from a keygen or stolen.
Ram, banning ranges usually bans a few innocents too, in ut2k4 more so than in u1 :-/

So, erkhm, there are NO RULES AGAIN SPAWNKILLING? If player will spawncamp, blame other players, or even cheat, you can't do anything to stop him. Yeah, ofcoz, you can place a kick vote, but most of the players are too busy to read the messages in the left bottom corner of the screen. Admins on serwer are a good option, but sometimes there is nobody from TCP on the serwer. maybe a force voting (i mean:" if any player got, for example, 2 kick votes against him, Kick Vote screen will show up on other ppls screen and they MUST vote b4 the go back to game.)?

I think that will be (over) used also then to annoy people etc. I hate pop-ups when im playing, also happens with mapvote....not good idea imo.

Well, but this could be overused, so somebody could ban someone only because he dont like him or something like that... [sorry for my bad english

Well I have admin rights, aned I have kicked ppls for being lame.
But when your own clan members start being lame as well.....!
THe problems is there is no set rules in ONS about spawnkilling, camping at opponents power core etc.
Good players dont, they dont need to.
Poor/bad players do,because thats the only way they know to win.
