sorry, i was mo mo mo monster AFK for a while :p
my dad hide my router so i couldnt come online :l
well, i worked in the 2 weeks offline madness on the map a bit and also i made a new map which is also almost done and much better playable than toysoldiers

Well, being a father myself, I did things like that too. So I have to help your father out and say, "STAY OUT OF THE PORN SITES"....
Welcome back, was getting worried about you.. I need a clean version of the map. Version 2 did not work for me. I am wondering how Car got it to work.

I just searched for all the files that where missing .. quite simple actualy but sometimes hard to find em
If u just download all the stuff i put in my post it will run just fine

OK man, thanks a bunch. I will give it a try now.
BTW...Anyone interested in a couple of ferrets? We just had about 11 babies, and they (and my wife) are driving me crazy. HELP!!!!

anyway, here is the new map im working at...
i need to change the middle node i think, its a bit weird ^^
you need to setup the link system by yourself, when you hit ESC and then on 'MAP' > 'Link System'

OK I finally got the ECE pack loaded and now works, so I have now looked at you r map and have a few comments.
1. You have been at the tuterals. Very nice map for your (I think) first try. Some things that I noticed, and maybe you have also seen them, are the fog color and the sky color are different. This makes your world dissapear in the background. either get the fog and background color of your skybox the same or hide it (in the skybox) with a fog ring.
2. When stretching textures, be carefull when makeing moutains. If you are forced to walk up the hills, you may fall through your ground. If your ground is so strectched, and you can not change this, then there are a few things that you can do. One is to put a blocking volumn under the floor, or to block the player all the way. There are more but you wil find your way.

yea i know, but actually i absoloutly dont feel like working with the editor anymore..
what happend to your map frank?

Do not say that. You have a good talent for the editor. Your knowledge of the technical side is alittle weak, but that is why I am here. Keep up the work that you are doing. There are some things that need to be fixed, but you have fresh ideas. And you can make some good levels.
Let me help you become more educated in how to build a better world.

I write what I see, only on the critic side. I like your levels, and I know that you have a talent for it. I want to help you make it "Right". Do not give up because I am trying to help you.
My world is coming, but I have been busy with Cat's level and my garden and my ferrits and my wife and my daughter and my work .....OK you get the point. I am alittle busy at the moment, but am getting there. I also want to remake the old unreal into a ONS map. I do not know which one yet, but it will be only a segment of the map.
Like sinfonia... it would only be the outer middle portion of the map. You could never get an old unreal map blown up to the size of ONS in whole. Deck 16 would also be cool....but how?!?!

Looks great m8
Gave it a little testrun on my own server and seemed to work fine

Like what u did with the doors
i did get a error message in the server though it was
Warning: Missing Texture Texture SOLDIERS.Poseter.black-metal
But this didn't stop it from running so dunno what is missing exactly didn't notice anything odd
I think i'll add this one to the server if no one else finds anything odd
