I agree Sentic, it's observational humour, less funny if you haven't experienced it. I found it more interesting as a documentary on the Dutch shopping environment and habits
Personally I dont particularly like Mr Bean, or Benny Hill or Are You Being Served, all of which are apparantly popular in the USA
Conversely programmes like the Simpsons, Cheers and 3rd Rock from the Sun are excellent. Its all down to personal taste
