i haventh played that game sooo long time...so its fun play to somthing like that

Since I never played Diablo before, I may be excused for my ignorance then

Still its sickening to see that you put Diablo over (d&d) games like Baldurs Gate. Of course Diablo was more common to play, but thats because of 2 reasons only :
1.) Big internet play with many ppl, at a time, where not many games even had that option.. I think..
2.) The biggest reason.. Every idiot can play a game, where you spend hours just hammering away on the mouse buttons :/
And the world has more idiots than anything else = big target audience

unlike Baldurs Gate, which involves +11 stuff, not many ppl can count to 11, so those went to play Diablo, thus it got many fans :O
