Sirfy I always liked you but I don't understand you anymore at all.

As for }TCP{'s popularity I think I am majorily responsible that our clan name is rather well known on the US side. When I joined this clan, there were a European and a US faction of this clan (Van being a member of the US side), but it ran out of members and the US faction dissolved.

From then on, the name }TCP{ was getting rather unknown in the US. Actually, when I started playing more on USA servers, people were wondering about the strange tag.

I made some friends in the US, partly just by playing and talking, many (unfortunately) only because of I started working on mods. It was MAINLY because of me the name }TCP{ regained a bit of US presence.

When we merged into a "family" like relationship with {KDS} our US position was strengthened, and most developments now happened on their own. Thanks to Carnage and our US friends there was little further "fuel" needed by me.

Looking back I am not really proud of "my accomplishments" (except for our alliance with {KDS} but that was Carnage's doing mainly in the beginning). Why? Because }TCP{ should never have been forgotten in the first place!!! I find it a shame that the memory of some people are so short-lived. }TCP{ is an old clan, and "we" were there a long time on both sides of the ocean, we were always a fairplaying bunch of people who saw the clan as more than just a clan, it's a family here! This is why I felt so betrayed when Xtreme (7DayTheory) decided to leave the family (he was clan leader at that time), it was like losing a brother or father.

He made promises about coming back when his "new idea" wouldn't work out - he didn't keep it. He made me hope again later that he might come back, and even bring back our lost member Babette. He didn't keep that promise (well it was no real one any more) either. He joined WKYB and now XTC. I have seen him play sometimes in a way he would never have dared to play wearing a }TCP{ tag. We've kept the door open for him to return a long time, but now it's shut and I'm not even sure I would want him back. When I saw him with an XtC tag I was really disappointed the first moment. I just hope he will remember the old values and maybe shape XtC in a worthy fashion, I am just more sad than angry nowadays about this story.

Summary of my rant:

}TCP{ was popular and is popular (at least I hope so), }TCP{ has existed longer than all those "upstart" clans, or clans with ever changing names (*hint*) and I have no reason to believe this is going to change! We have built our reputation by friendship, and maintaining a level of reliability and family-feeling over YEARS!! I would normally never post such a rant but since you, Sirfy, are obviously totally IGNORANT as to our feelings, our past and to what we stand for, you kinda forced me to.

We don't play enough? Oh well we do have real lives with real problems. We don't talk with each other enough? Hah... you must be missing when I flirt with Van

I have built up a personal reputation with my mods too. But I'm getting so many requests and questions via email that I sometimes wish I was a bit less popular and more unknown again. Regardless what is going to happen with }TCP{ or Unreal, I will keep in touch with a number of people I learned to love over the 2 years of my presence here on both sides of the ocean.

So... just WHAT in heavens name do you think you can help us with? Do you want to "teach us how to be a family"? If you didn't have the feeling of being in a family here, then I'm helplessly sorry. But do you think it was all our fault...? What were your expectations exactly? And does XtC completely meet them? Maybe it is (as almost always) not a clan issue at all... maybe it's just the people! Come to think of it... But I'm really pissed you know? I really did like you but towards me your words stab me in the back now, you're trying to help solving problems where there are none - at least to us.

I am puzzled and pissed

wow....almost made me cry...lol....but im totally right...its just like a familiy but not xtc to me...calling me those words...i wont be part of them..they spawn to much...MOST of the players is just spawners!

And TCP is popular...all those mods..like the uteamfix its spreading.. people are talking about wolf and the uteamfix and bla bla...
but i never knew tcp made all those things....and helped me out..with unreal...and my english gone pretty good..

But im totally with wolf here.....
..but now im inactive...but i will be active again...in Summer Holidays...it will be fun! With this family

And now i know alot of stuff! I was afraid to download stuff so my computer didnt get any viruses and such.But when i met this cee :O and his bit torrent friends

it started to make me download!

Ok...I need to set things straight here...

Wolf: First off, I wasn't aware of ANYTHING in TCP's past. I knew you were a big name for TCP when I leanred only a mere few months ago (not even half a year ago) that you made those mods. I was only 'IGNORANT' to TCP's past. You can't expect someone to join a clan and automaticaly know everything about it. I am sorry if I offended you on that part.

I am aware that everyone has their own lives away from Unreal. (well, 98% of unreal players anyway) And I also understand that TCP is like a family. If you ever read my earlier posts before I left, I said that you guys are like family to me. I hated to leave because of that.

My intensions for leaving were simple and I said them many times. I wanted to do more as a clan. I can doubt I was able to do anything with TCP other than the meetups. With XtC we have a clan match almost damn near every week. If we're not in clan matches then we're working together.
I never got to talk to anyone in the clan, except for Taz and Cee, outside the forum. Everyone was on ICQ or something else I was unble to have. (program issues with this computer and stuff...can't explain that) And on the forum I still wasn't able to communicate with anyone. In XtC it's required to have MSN to we can all comunicate with one another outside the forum and outside Unreal. Which personaly, I though was great. This wasy I got to personaly meet every member and get to know them better with no hassle.

And XtC does fit together as a family. Without some members, I think we'd be kind of lost. We even express out love towards one another

lol, but we do care about one another greatly.

And i take offence to what you had said. Saying that "maybe 7DayTheory can shape XtC into a worthy fashion" We're shaped up very nicely as it is.

So, I do not like the name calling and all that when you do not know what is really going on. I had NO CLUE about TCP's past. I had learned not long ago that you made all these mods and learned more just this week. I values this clan as a family and very close friends, but I wanted to do more than the clan itself had to offer, nothing having to do with the people. XtC meets what I was looking for (plus I had my 2 best friends in it already) but that does not mean I shuned TCP's friendship and family value. I had also said before I left that I would still like to be part of TCP in some way. I come to the meetups whenever I see anyone in the servers and I have still offered to help with the website. I have just shrugged what I have said then from some of the things said and made me very disapointed.

I really am sorry If I had offended you or any other TCP member, but I did not understand everything that went on and I believe you guys didn't either.

And about spawning...you're are misguided. If you are meaning in Jolt-Deck16...then you were very misguided. Everyone spawns in that server. No rules apply there.

Our rules are simple with spawning and very reasonable. But since it is too long to type here, I ADVISE you to visit here to learn more. http://www.aax.ca/p_rules.php And not all players obide by these. Some are still partial to the rules before, which were VERY similar if not the same as yours. I find myself to still follow them, but as the rules state, if I see alot of players spawning, I'll get tired of it and spawn back. I tire of being totaly nice to noobs. But that is only me and my options, not the entire clan's.

But we do admit we have 1 or 2 players who do like to break these rules. I am not sure if it has been fixed since our new rule change, but do NOT call the entire clan spawners when you do not look at the situation. Maybe the server you were in, the other players spawned as well. Or you were just in a server like Jolt-Deck16, or that server itself.

Also Wolf, what I was saying before, I was just trying to advise TCP to open up a bit more in your forums so new members won't be scared to join. I know you have someone in trial now, but I noticed the number of new members dwindled quite a bit. I was also going to advise to maybe try advertising the clan in some populat U1 sites. Personaly I hate that, but I've seen it done

But still, I will gladly still help with the site

and again I am sorry for any offenses I have caused and I hope as well as myself, that I helped clear up XtC's name. We are not as bad of a clan as people are putting it these days

i have a lot of respect for }TCP{, a lot more respect than for XtC, however my respect for the xtc clan is ever-growing

ima have to agre with wolf on this one (NOT with Taz, little bastard u spawn as much as we do, if not more

) i have been around uneal for a bit longer than sirfy and i know tcp is one of the oldest clans and deserves to be respected for all that they have accomplished (its hard to keep a clan together for more than 6 months

)

sirfy, since you are no longer a part of tcp clan and because you are causing an uproar

u shoudnt say anything about a clan if u dont know about it....there is no excue for being ignorant, if u didnt know anything about them, then you shouldnt have said anything dont think u should post here any more...

also to taz - never characterize the clan as a whole (im not saying u ere right or wrong in this situation, just dont do it cuz there are a variety of ppl in each clan), in this case, the players are jut following the rules that i have formulated that i believe along with the rst of the clan are quite fair (there is a lengthy portion of the rules that apply to spawning)

well i still like both of u taz and wolf, so dont take anything personally
and dont take it like im trying to burn up tcp or anything lol, the last thing i would want would be the destruction of one of the oldest and most experienced clans in unreal!!

i jut want to settle the argument, whether i succeeded or not we shall see

Badmouthing... I think it would be badmouthing if I told outright lies. While my memory does sometimes fail me everything I have stated on the events were facts and the part what I thought of them of course my own humble opinion. I don't see any "badmouthing" there, I would never intentionally do something like that.

Unfortunately, all my older ICQ chat logs have gone lost during an accident, otherwise I'd post some logs to clear a few things up. If I mis-stated any facts regarding the history of events, I'd ask the only person who is capable of correcting it todo so: 7Day himself!

My opinion on it stands though. He definitely made me hope for his return, but never put it to reality. I wouldn't care so much about the whole issue if he wasn't the leader and a friend I used to love like a brother.

Well I suppose that is a general problem with games where the overall community has decreased to such a small amount. And not all of the remaining people actually wish to join a clan. Having ONE tryouter is already much these days, we currently have 2 btw and a third is very likely to come

Let me rephrase that. I currently don't know exactly what to think of 7Day. If the old "Xtreme" character has joined your clan (you should have quoted my full statement) he will be a great addition for you both in skill and personality. From my current view, however, he has changed a lot and I am not sure this is what you got.

Have you seen my brother ? I know him much better than anyone on unreal...hes the worst spawner in xtc

I played with him 1v1 a lot of times...few years ago...was just a spawn game sort of.....i know i can take him without spawns ! ....( Well he spawns kinda...i just take a gun and not even a second i die

but he usally spawns somtimes... )

Well i dont play much in Deck16....but i never spawn there unless if somone do that to me :\ I did spawn long time ago.This is just not XtC its been in dwc to...made me so mad....i JUST left the clan....and the rest stared to leave :\ BUT i never spawn not at all i just do it cause :
1)If somone shoots me with disp and i have low health hes dead

2)If somone spawned me before..i will spawn them back...

crap..i dont remember lol....but those rules is from KoR i think....
and im not little you gotta be like 16 or 17 but im 15 :\

TAZ u spawn just newbies to get some frags. U cant play against skilled player so dont play or better dont say anything and just stay away...
