Oink hello....
Maybe a simple question...
Is it possible to install UT2004 at Vista and the same game (same disc) to install also in XP.... dont know if the license allow this...
I looked it already at google.. but i can google it till i weigth a ounce, so maybe you peeps did try it allready or know this...

dunno if vista understand ut2004

but it shouldn't care how much times you instal it
3 people used my key @ same time online sometimes (mupp3t, wiggle and me ;))

Should be no problem at all :)

Btw i think Cloud (aka cheesy poof) uses Vista so if u run into any problems maybe he can help ya with that :P

I play ut on vista no probs to be honest but i miss xp :(

I think he means that he has XP AND Vista installed and wants to install UT on both setups.

I see no problem with that. Since both setups are seperate from each other.

As long as u dont connect both pc's (the XP and Vista) at same time to the master server of UT2004, u'll be fine.

If its dual boot, np of course since u cant connect both OS at same time. :)

BTW Carny, i use Dedicated server package (alot smaller then game) for my server, and not the game disc to launch the server. :D

Unless you absolute need the in-game "Speech" feature, you don't even have to install it a second time. Just use the ut2k4 key changer tool to set your ut2k4 key in the registry and you will be able to start the game from wherever you put it on your drive, properly installed or not will not matter.

At the moment running in Vista... but im slightly turning back to XP.
Soon gonna install it in XP to... but im considder the option Wolf gave. Worth for a try.
With another game on a different drive it gave me probs to use in both OS....

ok done.... works perfect.
did a new install at XP... must say i like the perform better and the prog itself its bit faster then under vista64.
just having probs to add favorites (servers) to my list... but thats a minor prob and that comes fine in the future by adding those where buddies playing..
