What I am going to tell is not exactly about UT, but highly important for understanding what is going on in Europe.

I suggest that everyone heard about the war between Russia and Georgia. Western mass media (BBC, CNN etc.) show it as Russian invasion in Georgia. IT IS COMPLETE LIE!!!!!!!
The troops that were shown on BBC are not Russian, they are Georgian.

It all started on 8th of August when Georgian army attacked Tshinvali, the capital of South Osetia. They used rocket launchers and air forces against the civilians. More than ONE THOUSAND innocent people and Russian peacekeepers were killed during this attack. The city was comletely destroyed. As a result, Russia sent its troops to protect people because 90% of the South Osetia citizens have Russian citizenship.

Historically South Osetia was never part of Georgia. They are not Georgians and do not want to be the part of Georgia.

This is information war against Russia from the side of US. The US want to create a new hot spot in Europe like former Yugoslavia.

You should give the BBC some credit ... your version is pretty close to what's been reported in the UK, although I don't think you you can blame the USA for whats happening any more than you can blame Russia, it's rooted in ethnic divisions and it's not helped by geopolitics . Russia gave the citizenships to South Osetia as part of their support package to them, and Georgia no doubt looks to the West for support. It's a bit like Cosovo with the superpowers' roles reversed, and its been brewing for some years apparantly, or so I'm told. As always we don't really know what's happening behind the scenes.

I still blame Russia. They want to have control over smaller countries. When they cannot, they are accusing others for terrorism and using force. I guess Georgia has important petrol pipelines. Ruskies (ofc goverment) have taste on it so they're doing everything to take control over it and that or the other way.

Who's economy?
You here in holland won't feel a damn difference in your pocket when there is a war somewhere on the planet. Heck, even if there would be a war inside of holland you wouldn't say its good for the economy, because it isn't then.

The only people that benefit from wars are corporate company's hired by goverments to aid in war country's. And the funny thing is, that most of those corporate company's that are being hired by the goverement (speaking about USA atm now), are former goverment people themselfs that are either retired or left politics behind.

The benefit to economics is very slim to none during wartime.

As for controlling the world population. The casualties during wartime are marginal. If you wanna lower the world population its better to make a super virus and release it in all the major city's around the world. With the extreme use of anti-biotics these days, alot of virusses are getting resistend to most known anti-biotics. So goodluck fighting that supervirus then. Its just a matter of time before one pops up somewhere.

As a comparison. The war in Iraq which started in 2003 till today has around 4500 casualties at the side of the "good guys". AIDS kills 2 million people anually. You do the math

only people that do not want to do anything for a war get it less good (the majority (hard word =P ))
and i didn't ment us Holland, we got nothing to do whit that war

so that is prolly somewhere around a half mil

and we want less people on earth (but thats a other discussion)

aids is only still this big cause we can't get it in the mind of africans that they need to use condoms

Well as you know I am from Kosovo and they support Serbia that we cant have own state even more then 3000 years we are here and still Russia dont want that we are own state even 98% of people are from Kosovo and 2% Serbian...on Other side they help that country to be own Land because they Have Russian Passport?

To step back and let Georgian army kill all civilians in South Osetia? Let Georgians slay children, women, old men only for their unwilling to be the part of Georgia? I recognize western style of "pacification". It is the same as you did in Kosovo, in Irak.
We were tolerant for many years. Our country has been robbed, culture - vandalized, people - humiliated by the democratic US and EU.

However, our country is now ruled not by f*cking alcoholic Eltsin, but willed powerful team fully supported by the people and we will not leave all this unpunished. Do not underestimate us.

Georgia will pay the full price for everything and no one will stop us.

I think maybe you should relax and not be so paranoid about this East West thing ... certainly there is no general hatred or even dislike of Russia in the UK as far as I know .

The UK gave indepedence to its Empire last Century, it mostly went peacefully and we have mostly very good relations with the former colonies. Similarly Rusia gave indepedence to its Empire more recently and cudos for that , its no humiliation.

As for the rights and wrongs in South Osetia, personally I'm in favour of self determination and if the majority of peeps there really do not want to be with Georgia then they have a right to be separate imo. What puzzles me is how they were included with Georgia in the first place if they do not want to be, maybe it's down to historical boundaries.
